Day 2 Begins - Cabo 2024

Day 1 is in the books. It was an amazng first day. Great workout after getting checked in. I did receive a bit of news that I will share when appropriate, but I am not ready to talk about it quite yet. Nothing to do with me. I'm healthy, happy, and enjoying the sun and surf! Dinner was amazing. I highly recommend the Westin property here. This is my second time here and it is amazing. The staff are literally at your call. Dinner was at their fanciest restaurant El Ciruelo. I did all of the waiters recommendations and

I have to say that the staff at El Ciruelo was so amazing. I do not drink alcohol and once I shared that I received a mocktail that was so amazing. I also indicated that a hot chocolate sounded so good and poof they bring me the best hot chocoloate I have ever had.

I also shared my dinner with the whales, not literally of course, but as the sun set i got to enjoy watching them in the water below.

That leads us to today and a bucket list item to be checked off my list. I am going out on a boat to whale watch. Two things.. One I have never been in a boat in this area and Two never have I ever gotten up close with whales. Today will be another great day. When I was around 10 or so my grandma Hazel bought me a whale. Well, it was a whale adoption. Remember how you could adopt an animal and they would send you information annually. That was what she did. For serveral years I would receive information about my whale. At 10 I wanted to save the whales and move to Santa Cruz and become a marine biologist. That stuck for many years. Still there. In the dreams catagory. I still made it to almost the west coast just under different circumstances.

I am off to sun before the whale adventure. I'll share videos and photos either later tonight or tomorrow. I may need time to decompress from marking off number 2 on my bucket list.
